The Luzerne County Down Syndrome Network was founded in 2005 by two women, Angie Y. and Barb W., with the goal of organizing Luzerne County's first annual Buddy Walk.


Through events such as the National Down Syndrome Society Buddy Walk, our MISSION is to advance acceptance and inclusion of people with Down Syndrome while raising funds for qualified local and national non-profit education, research and support programs.
