Southern Maine Down Syndrome Family Network

Our organization is made up of families who have a child with Down syndrome. Our purpose is to promote awareness and acceptance of people with Down syndrome in the community, and to provide support and education to member families.


From October through May, we meet on the last Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Members take turns hosting meetings in their homes. From June through September, we hold family gatherings on the last Sunday of each month, again rotating locations. We also have a Yahoo e-mail group, where members can always reach each other with news, questions, etc.
