Alaska Chapter of National Down Syndrome Congress
Today, the group has grown to include over 100 families and individuals throughout the state of Alaska. The Chapter has branches in Anchorage and Fairbanks. along with regional representatives within the state. The Chapter's purpose remains to provide education and disseminate information for members, new parents and the community as a whole; to provide parent-to-parent support to families of children with Down syndrome; to gather socially and share experiences; and to be an advocacy group for political effectiveness. Some of our programs and activities include:
