We envision the blog to be a place were individuals all over the world can converse about the various topics presented relating to the mission of social inclusion and friendship. The bloggers that appear on this blog are all university and college students or individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Best Buddies Loyola University Chicago has been recognized for our efforts campus wide both in 2008 and 2009 as recipients of the Damen Award, named after the founder of the university. This award is given to only less than five student organizations each academic year from over the 200 student organizations we have on campus. We were also recongized as an international outstanidng chapter by Best Buddies International in 2008.
