Down in the Southland

Down in the Southland promotes friendships among children with Down syndrome.  We are a family oriented group that meets almost weekly for a variety of activities.  All ages and siblings are welcome at all activities (unless otherwise specified)!  We don't charge for being a member of the group, we just ask that you participate and get to know everyone. We are a casual group and love to meet new families!

Some of our typical  activities include:

  • Splash pad outing

  • Park Play dates

  • Christmas Party in August

  • Annual Summer picnic

  • Music playdates

  • Pumpkin picking

  • Halloween party

  • '05-'07 playdates (based on year child was born)

  • '02-'04 playdates (based on year child was born)

  • '98-'01 playdates (based on year child was born)

  • Mom's spa night

  • And of course we support the DS Support Buddy Walk every year, which supports our group!
