Best Buddies is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment.

Our organization is well aware of the special needs of your child and we are available to help you help your child. Our goal is simple, to enhance the lives of individuals with Down syndrome by helping them reach their full potential by providing family support, education and social activities.

Buddy Cruise Inc. is a not for profit organization serving families and friends of individuals with Down syndrome on a national level. It is our purpose to provide education and promote public awareness of Down syndrome by arranging and conducting special events, namely cruises.

In 1989, the Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville was founded by a handful of families who recognized the need to have a support group in the Jacksonville community. The focus is to provide awareness and education and to help individuals with Down syndrome reach their potential.

Hope Haven’s Down Syndrome Center provides evaluations in the areas of medial, speech/communications, gross motor, fine motor, behavioral/social and educational development. It also provides parent and family resources, support services, and prenatal/newborn consultations.
