We are a parent/family support group in Plainfield (southwest Chicago suburbs).
We meet about once a month for educational and social events. There is no cost for joining.

GiGi’s Playhouse is a not for profit Down syndrome awareness center. With multiple locations, we offer activities, resources, educational programs and support for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community.

La Rabida provides family-centered care for children with Down syndrome. Care team members specialize in Down syndrome and focus on the child's intellectual, emotional and physical development.

The Lincoln Land Down Syndrome Support Group was formed in approximately 1990 by a group of families from Springfield, Illinois, and the surrounding communities for the purpose of providing a support network for families having a member with Down Syndrome.

It is the mission of the Livingston Area Down Syndrome Society to be an advocate to empower persons with Down syndrome and their families. LADSS will be a local voice in central Illinois to create an atmosphere in which all people will recognize the value and dignity of those with Down syndrome.
