Camp Courageous of Iowa is a year-round respite care and recreational facility for individuals of all ages with disabilities. The camp was established in 1972 with the first 211 campers attending in the summer of 1974. Today, Camp Courageous serves well over 5,100 campers in a year-round program.

Hawkeye Area Down Syndrome Association (HADSA). Our goal is to provide education, support and advocacy to those individuals, their friends, families, and professionals in the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area.

The University of Iowa Center for Disabilities and Development Down Syndrome Service welcomes infants, children, and adults. We work closely with families and with local care providers. We can clarify the diagnoses of people thought to have Down syndrome, and coordinate their health care.

Up With Down is a non-profit support and advocacy group for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. We are based in Des Moines and serve more than 150 families in central Iowa.
