The Albert Pujols Wellness Center for Adults with Down Syndrome
Patients 17 years of age or older will access the Center by making an initial appointment. After a physician visit for a comprehensive physical, patients will be referred to various services focused on nutrition, exercise, safety and social/emotional well-being. These services are specifically designed for adult Down syndrome patients. The Center will also offer caregiver classes on various topics for patients’ caregivers to attend. This service will complement the patients’ regular visits with their primary care physician for other medical issues.
